My October 7th Statement

As I have said before, I dislike talking about politics. Today is no exception.

What happened on October 7th, 2023, a terrorist organization called Hamas made a terrible attack against humanity.

Some will say against Zionists. Some will say against Israel. There will be those who want the offenders prosecuted. There will be others who want the victims of that violence blamed. “They asked for it because…” which is utter bullshit.

NOBODY should be attacking and killing other human beings. I tell you what. If EVERYONE on the planet could ‘feel’ the deep grief a mother suffers when her child, grown or not, dies, all wars and conflicts across this whole planet would STOP.

Do NOT make this statement of mine into your political pivot point, vermin! “Oh, then you must oppose Trump’s war against Iran.” or “Then you must be against killing drug runners on the sea.” None of that applies to this statement. I am not talking about who is doing what.

I am talking about the consequences. The loss of every mother who’s child has died. Especially on October 7th, 2023.

I am not a woman. I’m a 58 year old man, who has witnessed the intense grief a mother goes through when her child is reported as dead.

That grief is more than a warning.

Women are gate keepers of our species, folks. Without women, we would all perish as a species, good and gone. But some men on this planet want to objectify women, hit them, hurt them, own them like property, and it makes me SICK!

Women are special. In the beginning, God brought life into our world. That same God has gifted women with a tiny pinch of that power of creation, and most men on this planet don’t even know HOW to RESPECT such a power. Such a choice SHE has to make in bringing another soul into our world.

Every person slain is a loss. Maybe some of them deserve to be removed from the world. Maybe they don’t. Just don’t forget. Everyone has a mother. And for every death, that mother weeps. Deeply. Intensely. Powerfully.

If you could feel that grief each time, like I said, ALL WARS would stop.
